How do I buy Piani di Bobbio tickets online?

The online purchase process is very simple. You just need to register on the portal, choose the date you plan to come skiing or visit Piani di Bobbio, select the type of ticket you wish to buy, and enter your credit card details to proceed with the payment. Once the purchase is complete, the system will send you a receipt via email: if you purchased a round-trip ticket for the Barzio-Bobbio cable car or the Valtorta-Bobbio chairlift, you can go straight to the turnstiles and head up the mountain by scanning your QR Code. If you purchased ski passes, you will need to go to the self-service ticket machines to collect your physical passes, again by scanning the QR Code received by email.

Which type of tickets can I buy online on the portal?

The following can be purchased online:

  • Round-trip tickets for the Barzio-Bobbio cable car and Valtorta chairlift
  • Bobbio Ski Pass and Valtorta Ski Pass (one-day, hourly, and multi-day passes)
  • B-Rent rental with pickup at the VALLEY station (bottom of the Barzio cable car)
  • B-Rent rental with pickup at the TOP station (arrival of the Barzio cable car)

What is the difference between the "BOBBIO SKI PASS" and the "VALTORTA SKI PASS"?

The ONLY difference between the two ski passes is the access point to the resort - BOBBIO Ski Area. If you purchase a Bobbio Ski Pass, you will access the mountain from Barzio; Bobbio ski passes always include a round-trip ride on the Barzio-Bobbio cable car. If you purchase a Valtorta Ski Pass, you will access the mountain from Valtorta via the Ceresola-Bobbio chairlift (Valtorta ski passes DO NOT include the use of the Barzio-Bobbio cable car). Both ski passes allow you to ski throughout the entire Bobbio Ski Area.

What is the difference between the "FIXED-DATE SMART SKI PASS" and the "OPEN-DATE COMFORT SKI PASS"?

Fixed-date Smart Ski Passes are valid only for the specific date you selected during the purchase process. Once purchased, the date cannot be changed, and the pass will only be valid for the chosen day. If not used on that date, they are non-refundable, cannot be used on another date, and no date modifications can be requested.

Comfort Ski Passes, on the other hand, are open-date and offer the flexibility to be used whenever you want until the end of the 2026-2027 season. When purchasing a Comfort ski pass, you will only be asked to select a date so the system can display high-season or low-season rates: a high-season Comfort ski pass can be used on any day of the 2026-2027 season, while a low-season Comfort ski pass can be used on any low-season day of the 2026-2027 season.

When are the High Season periods?

  • All Saturdays and Sundays
  • Monday, December 7 and Tuesday, December 8, 2026
  • From December 26, 2026, to January 6, 2027
  • From February 7 to February 14, 2027 (with lift operating hours 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM from February 16 to 20 – Barzio cable car closes at 5:00 PM)
  • Easter Monday, March 29, 2027

Do skipasses already include Snowcare insurance?

During the purchase process, you can add Snowcare insurance for €3 for adults and €1.50 for children (0-12 years old).

Can I buy more than one ticket in a single transaction?

Yes, it is possible to buy more tickets (even if they are of different typology) in a single transaction.

Can I buy tickets for people of different age range?

Yes, for each type of ski pass, you can choose from different age groups:

  • Adult
  • Child (0-12 years old)

The prices vary depending on the age group. When collecting your tickets at the ticket office in Barzio, you may be asked to show an ID document for each user to verify the information entered during the online purchase process.

Where should I pick up the tickets that I bought online?

  • If you purchased ski passes: go to the self-service ticket machines and collect your passes by scanning the QR Code received by email.
  • If you purchased tickets for the Barzio cable car or Valtorta chairlift: you can go straight to the turnstiles with your purchase receipt, scan the QR Code you received by email at the turnstiles, and head up the mountain.

Is there any type of refund?

No, refunds are not expected, with the only exception of the impossility to use the sky plants due to the technical reasons, bad weather conditions or any type of service reasons communicated by the staff.
